Australian industrial band SPK plays Zagreb's Boogaloo club on November 22 at 7:30 p.m., with guests TeHOM. The concert is part of the European tour on which the band performs as The SPKtR, from November 7 to December 6, across twelve countries.

SPK was founded in Sydney in 1978. Founders Graeme Revell and Neil Hill met while working in the psychiatric ward of Callan Park hospital. The band started with uncompromising industrial and noise, and over the years moved through post-industrial and electronic rock all the way to synth-pop and dark wave. The key early albums are "Information Overload Unit" (1981), "Leichenschrei" (1982) and "Auto Da Fé" (1983), while "Machine Age Voodoo" (1984) was a turn towards a more danceable sound.

After the split in 1988, Revell went to Hollywood and became a film composer, starting with 1989's "Dead Calm". The band reunited in 2025 for concerts in Europe. Revell now performs with his son Robert J. Revell, with whom he released the single "The Last of Men" in March 2026, the first new material in almost forty years. Their first show as The SPKtR was at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen festival in Leipzig in May 2026.

Presale tickets cost 28 euros (about 1,725 denars) plus fees and are sold via entrio.hr. Boogaloo is on Ulica grada Vukovara in Zagreb, Croatia.
