The third group of Macedonian citizens evacuated from the Middle East arrived last night at Pristina International Airport. Those evacuated had been staying in Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, previously gathered in Riyadh by organized transport and from there departed the region on a special flight.

Foreign Minister Timčo Mucunski reported that the plane carried 151 passengers, of whom 109 are Macedonian citizens and the rest are nationals of several other countries. "The evacuation was carried out based on a previously established plan and in coordination with the competent institutions. The Ministry remains available to all our citizens who need support in the affected regions," said Mucunski.

Two days earlier, a special flight from Dubai brought 150 passengers, including 125 Macedonian citizens. Before that, 151 passengers — mostly Macedonian citizens — were evacuated from the United Arab Emirates on a Flydubai flight. At the very start of the conflict, six Macedonian citizens were extracted from Israel on the government plane.
