In the late evening hours of March 2, 2026, a Skoda car lost control on Partizanska Boulevard in central Skopje and ended up on the median near the Cathedral. The vehicle remained on the median until morning.

The incident was documented with video footage and attracted the attention of citizens and traffic inspectors. No serious injuries were reported.

Partizanska Boulevard is one of the busiest thoroughfares in central Skopje. The incident once again raised the question of traffic safety in urban areas and the need for more effective speed controls.
