Bulgarian supergroup VOLEVA play their first ever concert on October 2, 2026, on the covered stage of the Vidas Art Arena in Sofia. The band presents a new single and their debut EP. The event comes at the invitation of Fest Team.

The group is made up of three musicians Bulgarian audiences know separately, each from a different band. Ivan Lechev has been the guitarist of the legendary FSB since 1978, has played with Stefan Valdobrev and the Usual Suspects since the late nineties, and joined the supergroup Fondatsiyata in 2013. He writes music for theatre, film and television, and has won three times as a mentor on "The Voice of Bulgaria". That is a career longer than four decades.

Rosen Vatev is a drummer who grew up in a family of drummers, co-founder of several of the most popular Bulgarian bands including Safo, Tube Hedzzz and Bobo & The Gang. In 2016 he and the band Jeremy? were picked personally by Brian May and Roger Taylor to open for Queen on their European tour in Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. For the past fifteen years he has played in Lili Ivanova's band. Nikolay Vodenicharov, known as Nikeca, comes from the groups Casual Threesome and Lisitsata I Kotaratsite.

The story behind the name is a good one. The group has existed since 2021, when the single "Дойдох да те взема" came out, with music and lyrics by Nikeca, guitars recorded by Lechev, who then called in Vatev for the drums. They only got a name three years later, during the video shoot for their second song, and the idea was Lechev's: the first two letters of each of the three musicians' surnames.

Tickets start at fifteen euros, roughly 920 denars, through the Ticket Station network, with details at festteam.bg. A first concert by a band carrying this much service behind it is not something that comes around twice.
