We are not there, but we are watching

Macedonia did not qualify for the 2026 World Cup, but that does not mean we will sit it out. On the contrary - this is the biggest World Cup yet, and it is full of stories the Balkans understand. So we made a short video that gathers exactly those.

The biggest edition yet

For the first time the tournament is shared by three hosts - the USA, Canada and Mexico - and for the first time 48 national teams take the field instead of the previous 32. The result is a number we had never seen before: 104 matches packed into a little over a month of football.

The Balkans at the tournament

Croatia carries the Balkan flag - runner-up in 2018 and third in 2022, it is the region's biggest name at the tournament. On the other side, Argentina defends the crown it won in Qatar, and Messi plays what looks like his last great dance on the world stage.

Everything about World Cup 2026 - the schedule by group, live results and where to watch legally - is gathered in one place.
