The fourth edition of the death metal festival Wretched Feast takes place on October 17, 2026 at the Modern Theatre club in Burgas. Doors open at 5 p.m., with five bands from five countries on one stage.
The headliners are Portugal's Analepsy, a brutal death metal band founded in Lisbon in 2013. Alongside them are Hungary's Monastery, Romania's Cadavrul and Turkey's Inhuman Depravity, while the home honour is defended by Burgas band Scolos, the last to join the bill.
The festival is small in scale but clear in taste: brutal and slam death metal, with no compromise towards a wider audience. It's exactly events like this that keep the underground alive in cities that aren't Sofia. How often does Burgas, which lives off tourism in summer, get guests like these outside the season?
Tickets on bilet.bg cost 25 to 30 euros, roughly 1,540 to 1,850 denars. For audiences from Macedonia, it's a rare chance to see five extreme bands from the Balkans and beyond in one night.
