Zemun Fest takes place from August 19 to 23 on the Zemun quay in Belgrade, on the Bogojavljenski plateau by the Danube. The paid nights begin on August 21, and the day ticket is 1,000 dinars through tickets.rs, starting at 7 pm.

This year's programme is the strongest in the festival's history. Taking the stage are Devito, Nele Karajlić, Edo Maajka, the electro-pop duo Nipplepeople, Montenegro's Who See and Regina, with Baby Lasagna and 2Some closing the finale. The festival opens on Thursday with a Family Day and completely free entry, a decision organisers with a line-up like this rarely make.

Friday, August 21, brings Regina and Devito on the same night. That is a meeting of two entirely different audiences: the Bosnian pop-rock group the whole of former Yugoslavia knows, and one of the most-streamed Serbian rappers on the current scene. Nipplepeople are added as the third name, a duo working with hypnotic dance rhythms who hold a stage with minimal means.

The Zemun quay is among the more beautiful open-air locations in Belgrade, with the Danube on one side and Zemun's old core on the other. The festival has existed there for several years and until now functioned as a local programme. With a line-up like this, it moves into another category.

Besides music, the programme also includes film premieres. Tickets are 1,000 dinars for a day pass and 1,500 for the fan pit, through tickets.rs.
