Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's daughter makes her runway debut: Apple Martin walks for Chloé alongside Eva Herzigová

Apple Martin, the 22-year-old daughter of Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has officially made her modelling debut at Paris Fashion Week. The runway was no accident: Chloé, one of the Hollywood elite's favourite houses, whose front row was packed with stars who didn't want to miss either Apple's first steps or the new collection from creative director Chemena Kamali.

The spring/summer 2027 show started at ten in the morning and once again paid tribute to the house's heritage: bohemian femininity, flowing silhouettes, delicate embroidery and ruffles. Apple wore a romantic white dress with perforated detailing along its full length and, rather than freezing under the pressure, walked with confidence - on the same runway as modelling legends such as Eva Herzigová and Julia Stegner.

This step didn't come out of nowhere either. She graduated from Vanderbilt University this year, while slowly edging towards the spotlight and acting. She first drew attention as a guest at Chanel's spring/summer 2023 haute couture show, followed by a Gap campaign alongside her mother, and this summer she became the face of the "Chloé à la Plage" collection. From the beach to the runway in a single season.

Kamali herself shared the attention in Paris. Since it was confirmed that Anthony Vaccarello is leaving Saint Laurent, rumours of her own departure from Chloé have only grown louder, and her words about the collection sounded like a farewell: "May the love poured into this collection last forever. This season I was guided by my love for Chloé. I hope the collection is an expression of the heart and soul of the house. Forever Chloé." Whether that was her last dance, next season will tell.

The fashion industry likes to call them "the new generation". The public has a sharper term - nepo babies, for whom doors open before they even knock. Apple, at least for now, walked without stumbling. But how many models without a famous surname will wait an entire career for one morning show like this in Paris?
