The Subotica Synagogue, one of the most beautiful concert spaces in Serbia, will host Balint Kasa and his large orchestra on 15 October. An event tailored for lovers of orchestral music in a setting that is, in itself, reason enough to come.
Balint Kasa was born in 1989 in Subotica and showed an inclination for music from an early age - at five he was already playing piano and taking part in competitions. His career led him toward conducting, and in 2018 he founded his own orchestra, with which he prepared concerts across Austria and Europe. His path is the story of a musician who reached the stages of Europe from a Vojvodina town.
The performance at the Subotica Synagogue joins Kasa's conducting energy with the sound of a large orchestra, in a space whose acoustics and architecture are part of the experience. For audiences from the region who want to hear orchestral music outside the standard concert halls, this is one of the more interesting occasions this autumn.
The concert starts at 7 PM, and tickets are available through tickets.rs. Subotica is close enough for anyone from the northern part of the region to whom an orchestral sound in a lavish setting means an evening worth the trip.
