BE4 HILLS, the new standalone day before the Hills of Rock 2026 festival, runs on July 23, 2026 at Greben Canal in Plovdiv. The lineup features Swedish metal machines Sabaton, prog legends Savatage, Dutch symphonic metal band Epica and Bulgarian group Sevi.
Sabaton, the Falun band that turns the history of war into platinum albums, headline BE4 HILLS. With tracks like Primo Victoria, Bismarck, Sparta, Carolus Rex and The Last Stand, they are one of the biggest names in heavy metal of the 2010s. They have over 5 million records sold, and The Tour to End All Tours for the album The War to End All Wars brought more than a million viewers into arenas across Europe and North America.
Savatage, the American prog-metal legend formed in Florida in 1978, is one of the most significant groups in the genre. With 12 studio albums and a direct influence on the style of Dream Theater and Trans-Siberian Orchestra (formed by the same creative team), they hold cult status. Epica, the Dutch symphonic metal band with singer Simone Simons, are known for combining classical music, operatic vocals and metal riffs - tracks like Cry for the Moon and Storm the Sorrow are textbook examples. Sevi are the Bulgarian local act.
Tickets are available via ticketstation.bg, either as a standalone day or as part of the four-day extended Hills of Rock + BE4 HILLS experience. Greben Canal in Plovdiv is one of Bulgaria's biggest festival sites. For Macedonian heavy metal fans, this is one night that brings four significant bands together in one place - a rare case in the neighbourhood.
