Aries

Aries will enter an argument today knowing in advance that they are right, and will stop it halfway. Not for peace at home, but because winning will start to bore them. A victory in a conversation that lasts forty minutes changes nothing except who washes the dishes that evening.

Taurus

Taurus will agree today to a change of plan proposed by somebody else, in the first minute, without the usual shrug. Saturday will turn out different from the one they imagined on Thursday. Some days are better precisely because you are not the one who drew them.

Gemini

Gemini will stay on one topic for an entire conversation today. No jumping, no three parallel stories looping back to the start. The person opposite will notice it faster than Gemini realises what they have done.

Cancer

Cancer will be asked today how they are and will answer accurately, without softening it and without turning the question back on the other person. It will take twenty seconds. The conversation will then go somewhere it has not gone in months.

Leo

Leo will stop today in front of something they want to buy and walk out without it. Not because of the money. They will simply judge that the object belongs to a different Leo, the one from two years ago, and that person no longer lives here.

Virgo

Virgo will fix somebody else's work today without mentioning the fix. Nobody will realise it had been wrong. It will bother them for about an hour, then stop - and that stopping is the bigger event than the fix itself.

Libra

Libra will be asked for an opinion today and will give one, whole, without the other side of the argument taped on at the end as insurance. The room will go quiet for a moment. An opinion delivered without an emergency exit is remembered longer than the most balanced overview.

Scorpio

Scorpio will forget something important today - a name, an appointment, who they left a key with. They will get annoyed out of all proportion. By the afternoon it will surface on its own, which for them is always a bigger relief than it is for other people.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius will sit down with the bills today and look at them all at once, not one by one as usual when the reminder arrives. The figure will be smaller than the fear that came with it. The task you avoid grows only in your head - on paper it sits quietly and waits.

Capricorn

Capricorn will change an agreed plan at the last moment today because something else appealed to them. With no justification prepared in advance. The people around them will take it as normal, which will surprise them more than the decision itself.

Aquarius

Aquarius will hear an opinion today that sounds wrong to them and will keep asking for another ten minutes before concluding. The conclusion will stay the same. The way they got there will be the difference their companion remembers.

Pisces

Pisces will take the last piece of something off the table today without asking whether anybody else wants it. A trifle. But for them it is the first such move this year, and by evening they will come back to it at least twice, which says more about the year than about the piece.
