Scorpio will haggle over apples like it's a flat, Capricorn will lend money without a single signature

Aries

Today Aries shouldn't buy the phone they've been eyeing for three weeks just because the old one has started dying at twenty percent battery. Get the battery replaced at the repair shop on the next street instead. It'll cost ten times less, and the phone will last until spring. By then the new model will have dropped in price anyway.

Taurus

Today, after dinner, Taurus will go out for a walk instead of sitting in front of the TV with a bowl of sunflower seeds. Down to the riverside and back - forty minutes, no headphones. There Taurus will run into a classmate not seen in twenty years, and they'll agree to walk again tomorrow, same time.

Gemini

Today Gemini will say "no" to the first request of the day. The rest of the day will belong to them.

Cancer

Today Cancer will ask their mother to teach them how to make ajvar, instead of taking it ready-made in jars every autumn. Mum will pretend it's hard to explain, and will be the happiest she's been all week. The peppers will be roasting until evening, and the smell will stay in the flat for days.

Leo

Today Leo will once again come across the ad for an Italian course they've been putting off for four years now. Signing up takes three minutes, and the first class is on Thursday evening. How many more times can you say "next autumn" before it becomes a joke?

Virgo

Today Virgo will open an email from a former colleague that has been sitting unread for months in the "important" folder. They'll reply with two sentences and no apology for the delay. The answer will arrive within five minutes, as if the colleague had been waiting for exactly that. It turns out she has an "important" folder too.

Libra

Today Libra should book the check-up they've been putting off since spring. All it takes is a phone call and a morning without coffee before the blood test. The results will most likely be fine - and then Libra can finally stop thinking about them.

Scorpio

Today, at the fruit stall, Scorpio will haggle over a kilo of apples as if buying a flat. The stallholder will knock off ten denars just to calm them down. Scorpio will walk away with a victorious smile - and with three kilos instead of one, because the stallholder will convince them it works out cheaper that way.

Sagittarius

Today Sagittarius will stop to help a stranger push a car that has stalled in the middle of a junction. They'll get dirty up to the elbows. The driver will then hold out a hand and a business card: he has a bakery two streets away. Until the end of the month, Sagittarius's burek will be free.

Capricorn

Today Capricorn will lend a cousin the money they've been saving for a new laptop, without asking for a single signature. They won't even ask when they'll get it back. The cousin will return it sooner than promised, and Capricorn will be more surprised by that than by the request itself.

Aquarius

Today Aquarius will write their partner a letter on paper, with a pen, and leave it on the kitchen table before going out. They won't send a message to check whether it's been read. In the evening they'll find the letter folded in four, in their partner's wallet.

Pisces

Today Pisces will stand in front of the bookshelf and realise that half the books were bought "for when I have time". Pick one and carry it in your bag all week. If you don't open it even then - why are you keeping it?
