Damir Kedžo, one of the most-streamed names of the contemporary Croatian pop scene, performs on July 10 at the Trsat fortress in Rijeka as part of the summer programme "Summer on the Fortress". The concert is part of a series of shows on the biggest open-air stage on the Kvarner.

Kedžo, born in Omišalj in 1987, began his career as a teenager, and won real fame as a member of the band-trio "Saša, Tin i Kedžo", whose debut single "365" held the top of the Croatian charts for six weeks. After the group broke up he went solo and established himself as one of the most popular pop singers in the country, with songs like "Sve u meni se budi" - the most-played song in Croatia that year.

In 2020 Kedžo won Dora, Croatia's national Eurovision selection, with the song "Divlji vjetre", but the Eurovision appearance never happened because the contest was cancelled in the pandemic year. Since then he has remained among the most frequently played Croatian performers, with a recognisable soft vocal and melodic ballads.

Tickets are available via ulaznice.hr. The concert is at the Trsat fortress above Rijeka, a medieval fort overlooking the Adriatic.
