David Guetta is returning to Macedonia after ten years. On September 8, 2026, at the „Toše Proeski" National Arena in Skopje, the „David Guetta - The Monolith Stadium Show" will take place - the biggest single-night concert ever held in the country, and the peak of a month-long cycle of celebrations marking 35 years of independence of the Republic of Macedonia.

Guetta is the biggest DJ of the last twenty years by several objective measures. He has been declared number 1 in „DJ Mag Top 100" twice (2011 and 2020), holds two Grammys (for the hits „When Love Takes Over" and „Hey Mama"), and has worked with practically everyone who has appeared in pop music - Sia, Rihanna, The Black Eyed Peas, Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha, Sam Smith. The hits „Titanium", „Without You", „Lovers on the Sun" and „I'm Good (Blue)" have over 10 billion streams combined. By one count, that's every living person on the planet.

The show coming to Skopje is part of his „Monolith" tour - a production described by organiser Boban Miloševski of „Avalon" as „unprecedented in European terms". For the first time, the „Toše Proeski" stadium will be used with all four stands plus the pitch filled with audience. That means a capacity of over 50,000 people - turning the stadium into one of the largest European DJ stages of the year.

The concert is part of a month-long cycle of celebrations marking 35 years since Macedonia's independence, running from August 8 to September 8, 2026, with over 120 Macedonian performers on various stages across the country. Guetta's show is the closing day - and the closing moment - of an entire season.

„Can't wait," Guetta himself commented at the moment of the announcement. Boban Miloševski of „Avalon" summed it up in one sentence: „If it's a ball, it should be a masked ball". In other words - if you're going to celebrate, do it properly. And it is serious - bringing a DJ of this calibre to a stadium in Skopje is a once-in-a-generation moment.

Tickets cost a symbolic 35 denars each (one for each of the 35 years of independence), available for both standing on the pitch and seating in numbered stands. Maximum two tickets per person. Sales begin on Friday, May 15, 2026, via avalonbooking.mk.
