Belgrade's underground metal scene is getting an international double bill. On October 11 at Zapa Baza, Gosudar from Moscow and In Obscurity Revealed from Mexico City take the stage - a night for those who want their death metal raw, dark and uncompromising.

Gosudar (Государь in Russian, meaning sovereign) is a death metal band out of Moscow, part of the Russian underground scene that has spent years building a cult following outside the mainstream radar. Their sound is heavy, menacing and unembellished - exactly what the club metal crowd wants when it is after a night with no calculations.

Second on the bill is In Obscurity Revealed, a band from Mexico City active since 2014, one of the names that climbed fast up the global underground metal scene. Russian and Mexican metal sharing the same stage in Belgrade is a rare occasion - underground scenes usually do not travel this far to meet in one place.

The show at Zapa Baza starts at 7 p.m., with tickets available through tickets.rs. For a crowd looking for an authentic metal night with no pretense, this double bill is among the more interesting entries in Belgrade's autumn lineup.
