Havasi, the Hungarian pianist, composer and one of the most successful instrumental stars from Eastern Europe, comes to Sofia on October 24, 2026. The concert will take place in Hall 1 of NDK as part of his Journey of Wonder world tour. The concert has two sessions on the same day - 16:00 and 20:00.
Balazs Havasi (born 1975 in Budapest) rose to fame in the late 2000s with his shows combining classical piano technique with rock, pop and electronic elements. The Guinness record for the fastest piano playing (since 2012) gave him global recognition. With 9 studio albums and over a billion YouTube views, he is one of the most recognisable names in crossover instrumental music of his generation.
The setlist covers his most popular compositions - Symphonic Pirates of the Caribbean, Wings of Hope, Lake Tribute - and material from the latest projects. The concerts are large productions with a full orchestra, rock-band section and an elaborate lighting design - a combination that has made his shows some of the best-selling instrumental concerts in Europe. NDK Hall 1 is suited to the large-scale format.
Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 195 leva. The concert starts at 20:00 on Saturday, October 24, 2026. There is also an earlier session at 16:00 the same day. For Macedonian fans of crossover classical and instrumental music, this is one of the key dates in the neighbourhood.
