Aries

Today Aries will wait forty minutes in a queue at a counter and won't complain once. In front of them, an older man will fill in a payment slip letter by letter, glasses perched on the tip of his nose. When his pen runs dry, Aries will hand him theirs. On the way out they'll realise they never once took their phone out of their pocket.

Taurus

Today Taurus should call the friend they've owed a call since the summer. No need for a long explanation of why it took so long - the friend won't even ask. The conversation will start with "where've you been" and end with plans for a beer before the end of the week.

Gemini

Today, over coffee with friends, Gemini will listen more than they talk. For the first hour nobody will notice. Towards the end someone will ask "are you OK?", and Gemini will answer honestly: better than ever.

Cancer

Today Cancer will cancel the gym membership they've been paying since January and have used four times. They won't promise to start on Monday. Instead, they'll take their trainers out of the wardrobe and leave them by the door, where they'll have to look at them every morning.

Leo

Today Leo will ask the youngest colleague for help with the software they've been avoiding since spring - and openly admit they don't understand it. The colleague will explain it in five minutes. Leo will write the steps on a sticky note and stick it on the monitor, where everyone will see it.

Virgo

Today in a meeting Virgo will answer "I don't know" - without adding "I'll check and get back to you by the end of the day". A short silence will follow. Then someone else will admit they don't know either, then another. The meeting will finally start talking about the real problem.

Libra

Today Libra will go out without an umbrella, even though the forecast says rain. The rain will catch them halfway to work. They'll arrive soaked to the knees and, instead of getting annoyed, will spend the morning telling the story to everyone who passes their desk.

Scorpio

Today Scorpio will come across an offer that sounds too good - a discount "only until midnight". They should close the page and come back tomorrow. If the offer is real, it'll still be there tomorrow. And if it isn't - what did they actually lose?

Sagittarius

Today, to the surprise of everyone who knows them, Sagittarius will plan Saturday down to the minute: laundry at nine, bills at ten, lunch at their parents' at two. They'll even send the schedule to the friends' group chat. Nobody will believe it's theirs - until Saturday, when they turn up for coffee at exactly five.

Today on the bus Pisces will put on their headphones the songs they listened to in high school and miss their stop. They'll walk back, to the rhythm of the last song. Which one it was - they won't tell anyone.
