Jonathan open the new concert season at Zagreb's Vintage Industrial on 24 September. Doors at 20:00, the show starts at 21:15. After the summer break the Rijeka band is back in a hall - and that is the point of the night.

Jonathan are five close friends from Rijeka whose paths crossed in 2011. Their sound is optimism seen through a dark lens - almost every song carries an honest undertone of pain and unease, which gives the music punk energy without throwing out the hope. Their discography includes the double vinyl "To Love" and "To Hold", the debut record "Bliss", and the double single "Getting Closer Is Keeping Us Apart".

Their credits are heavier than the size of the club suggests. They have played alongside Editors and The Killers, and completed a long American club tour that began at SXSW in Texas. When a band with that CV plays a room for a few hundred people, it is a chance to see up close an act you would normally watch from the twentieth row.

Tickets via entrio.hr run from around 100 to 1,150 denars, and are also available in advance at the Zagreb shops Dirty Old and Grif. Vintage Industrial is one of the key addresses for live music in Zagreb, and this night is the official opening of its autumn season.
