Magla Bend has scheduled five concerts at Sava Centar - Plava Dvorana in Belgrade on Sunday, May 17, starting at 20:30. The Belgrade outfit that blends traditional Balkan sounds with contemporary pop-rock is rounding off its residency at this venue with a show under the slogan "Just Show Up Tonight" (Samo se noćas pojavi).
Magla Bend has a base of around 194 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify and a back catalogue of hits that spin across radio stations all over the region. Among their best-known tracks are "Samo se noćas pojavi," "Neprijatelj" (a duet with Nataša Bekvalac), "Da li bi me volela" and "Kako žena vrediš milione" - the kind of titles that translate roughly to "would you love me" and "as a woman you're worth millions." The setlist also usually includes "Izmišljenju ljubav," "Stabilno loše," "Olovna ruka" and "Fali mi."
The band's Plava Dvorana shows are known for their lively tempo and sentimental lyrics about love, disappointment and the everyday ups and downs of ordinary life - the bread and butter of Balkan pop-rock. The hall's capacity is capped at around 1,500 seats, which usually means the audience sits close to the stage and the interaction is direct - more like a club night than an arena gig.
Tickets are sold via tickets.rs and Sava Centar. The concert starts at 20:30 at Sava Centar - Plava Dvorana. For Macedonian fans, Belgrade remains the closest major city where Magla performs regularly - one more reminder that the regional touring circuit still routes through Belgrade first.
