The Scottish hard rock veterans Nazareth are coming to Belgrade. On October 5, the mts Hall hosts the legends whose Love Hurts entire generations know by heart, whether or not they have a clue whose it is. The concert is part of the tour the band is carrying across Europe, and Belgrade is close enough for anyone in the region for whom the seventies still mean something.

Nazareth was formed in 1968 in Dunfermline, Scotland, out of what was left of the local band The Shadettes. Their international breakthrough came with the 1975 album Hair of the Dog, which delivered the title hit and their cover of the ballad Love Hurts - a song that went platinum in the US and became their only top-10 hit there, while charting in the top ten in nine more countries. Dan McCafferty's voice and that unmistakable rough sound built them into the foundations of hard rock.

The lineup today is not the one from the golden years - after decades of changes, in December 2025 the new singer became the Italian Gianni Pontillo, who debuted in February 2026. But the songs endure, and bassist Pete Agnew has held the continuity with the band almost from the very start. The crowd comes for the catalogue, and that catalogue still holds up on stage.

The show at the mts Hall starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are sold through tickets.rs. For a night filled with riffs older than half a century, there is hardly a better chance this autumn in the region.
