The folk arts festival Omaya Ethno Fest takes place on October 3 and 4, 2026 at Villa Lambada in the village of Musina, in the Veliko Tarnovo region. The programme starts on Saturday at 2 p.m. and combines ethno music with workshops in old crafts.

The music comes with guests from several countries. Performing are Bulgaria's Uikeda, Hungarian singer Anamaria Ola in a duo with percussionist Petar Yordanov - Bani, Stella Tsina from Greece with Konstantin Kuchev and Tatyana Manzhos, and the duo of Tatyana and Artyom Manzhos on bandura and guitar. A special highlight is the live painting spectacle "The Deer Man" by Veselin Mitev, Petar Yordanov and Maria Koycheva.

Away from the stage, the festival brings back forgotten skills: a studio for ancient ceramics and the potter's wheel, rug weaving, paper made from mulberry branches, a display of restored ovens from tsarist times, stalls with herbs, village food, honey and medieval mead. Visitors aren't just an audience - they get to take part.

Tickets on bilet.bg cost 10 to 25 euros, roughly 616 to 1,540 denars. The organisers ask guests to read the important details on the event page before setting off.
