Robert Plant vo Plovdiv na 6 juli
Robert Plant, the voice of Led Zeppelin and one of the most recognisable rock icons of all time, lands in Bulgaria on July 6, 2026. The show takes place at the Roman Theatre in Plovdiv - a second-century AD amphitheatre that has turned into one of the most impressive summer venues in the Balkans. This appearance is part of the All That Glitters tour with his current project Saving Grace and singer Suzi Dian.
Plant, with no less than a five-decade career behind him, is one of the most significant figures in British rock. With Led Zeppelin he was part of the albums that defined the genre - Led Zeppelin IV, Physical Graffiti, Houses of the Holy. Stairway to Heaven, Whole Lotta Love, Kashmir and Black Dog are standard reference points for any rock fan. After the band broke up following John Bonham's death in 1980, Plant has built a remarkable solo career - 11 studio albums, several Grammys and explorations across genres from blues and folk to world music.
Saving Grace is his latest project - a folk outfit leaning on American roots and British folk sensibility. Singer Suzi Dian, sharing the vocals with Plant, offers a female counterpoint to his recognisable tenor. The current tour's setlist covers material from the project, alongside unexpected versions of Led Zeppelin and solo classics, rearranged for the acoustic folk format. The Roman Theatre with capacity for around 3500 is one of the most magical summer venues in the region.
Tickets are available via ticketstation.bg. The show kicks off in the evening on Monday, July 6, 2026. Plovdiv is barely two and a half hours by car from Sofia and about six hours from Skopje. For Macedonian Led Zeppelin fans this is a major chance to see Plant, especially given he hasn't played Skopje in decades.
