Sarah Brightman, the best-selling soprano in the world, arrives at Arena Zagreb on 22 November 2026 with her Christmas spectacle "A Winter Symphony". The show starts at 19:30 and tickets begin at 49.50 euros through eventim.hr. She brings an orchestra and a choir on stage with her, and Tonči Huljić has been announced as a special guest.

The numbers behind her name are the kind almost no opera or crossover voice can match: 35 million records sold, over 180 gold and platinum awards across more than 40 countries, and more than a billion streams. But what she is remembered for above all is the role of Christine Daaé in "The Phantom of the Opera" - she was the first Christine on both the West End and Broadway, in a musical that more than 160 million people in over 200 cities have seen since.

"A Winter Symphony" is her winter programme, built around Christmas classics folded into songs from her own repertoire. This is not a recital in the strict classical sense: Brightman builds a show out of light, orchestral arrangements and layers of choir, which is exactly why she runs the same format across North America and Europe every December.

For Zagreb audiences this is the second kind of event the Arena is getting in November - something between a concert and a theatre production, with a price tag to match the scale of the staging.
