Signal, the most durable rock band Bulgaria has, plays TheLine Event Center in Varna on 22 October 2026. Doors lead into a 20:00 start, and DJ Aivan opens the night.

The band was founded on 1 June 1978 by Jordan Karadzhov, Rumen Spasov and Hristo Lambrev, who broke away from the group "Zlatni Struni". They recorded their first album, "Vechen Krastopat", in 1979, and two years later came "Kaskadyori" - the first double rock album in the history of Bulgarian music. It produced "Da te zhaduvam" and "Lodka li e lyubovta", songs that still turn up in every survey of Bulgarian rock.

The numbers from the first thirty years are the kind nobody puts up any more: over six thousand concerts and half a million records sold. Eleven studio albums, plus touring work across the USSR, Germany, Poland and Czechoslovakia at a time when that was serious business for a band from the Eastern bloc.

In 2011 Signal got its star on Bulgaria's Walk of Fame - the first time that walk carried a star bearing a whole band's name rather than one person's. The Varna show is in a club space at Port Varna, tickets are 20 euros through bilet.bg.
