Trump Promised UFO Documents: Real Transparency or a Show for the Crowd?

Trump claims his administration found "many very interesting documents" about UFOs and that the first releases will begin "very, very soon." He was speaking to supporters at an event organized by the conservative group Turning Point USA - meaning, an audience that already believes everything he says.

"I have to say we found many very interesting documents and the first releases will start very soon so you can see if this phenomenon is real," Trump declared. In February, he ordered US agencies to begin releasing government files on UFOs and possible extraterrestrial life, citing "strong public interest."

But here's the context: the 2024 Pentagon report states that investigations since the end of World War II found no evidence of extraterrestrial technology, and most sightings were misidentified ordinary objects. Trump himself admitted he hasn't seen evidence of aliens and still isn't sure they exist. So is the promise of "interesting documents" genuine transparency - or just another show for the crowd?
