Valeriy Meladze plays Sava Centar in Belgrade on February 12, 2027 at 8 p.m. Tickets are 7,000 RSD each (around 3,684 MKD) on tickets.rs for the Georgian-Russian pop star's first concert in Belgrade after a multi-year absence from the region.
Valeriy Meladze was born in Batumi, Georgia in 1965 into a family of engineers, and built his music career in Russia, where from the early 90s he became one of the most recognizable pop voices of the Russian-speaking world. His debut solo album „Sera" from 1995 launched him across radio stations, and tracks like „Ne trevozh mne dushu, skripka" and „Poseredine leta" stayed on as standards of 90s Russian pop.
In 2000 he co-founded with his brother Konstantin the Russian-Ukrainian pop group „VIA Gra" - it later became one of the biggest pop projects of the post-Soviet space, with the hit „Pritjazhenya bolshe net" in a duet with Meladze that has been listed among the top 10 Russian-language songs of the 21st century. Meladze has more than 60 prestigious awards, was named „Singer of the Year" in 2006 and carries the status of „Honored Artist of Russia".
From 2017 to 2020 he was a coach for four seasons of „The Voice Kids" on Russia's Channel One, which broadened his audience to younger families. The Sava Centar concert is part of a European tour with a limited number of dates - tickets are 7,000 RSD (3,684 MKD) on tickets.rs.
