Semir Gicić and Nataša Aksentijević perform the comedy "Večeras smo sami" ("Tonight We're Alone") at Akademija 28 in Belgrade on October 4 from 8 p.m. It's a story about the love life of two people whose relationship keeps swinging between passionate love and merciless arguments.

The show has already toured cultural centres across Serbia, from Smederevo and Zrenjanin to Novi Pazar and Subotica, and has also played for audiences in Salzburg, Austria. The organiser describes it as humour "without vulgarity, politics and cheap gags" - a promise you don't often hear on the regional commercial scene.

At the centre is the Balkan family with all its little wars: misunderstandings, jealousy and the eternal struggle with everyday life. The night is carried by witty dialogue and recognisable situations, without big stage effects. If someone in the audience recognises their own kitchen, that's the point.

Tickets cost 2,000 dinars via tickets.rs. The organiser claims halls are selling out everywhere, so for the October date in Belgrade it's better not to wait until the last day.
