W.A.S.P., the American glam-metal and heavy-metal veterans from Los Angeles and one of the most recognisable names of the eighties metal generation, come to Sofia on December 9, 2026. The concert will take place at Inter Expo Center as part of their world tour.

The band was formed in 1982 by frontman and bassist Blackie Lawless. With hits like I Wanna Be Somebody, Wild Child, Blind in Texas and L.O.V.E. Machine, they were one of the most provocative names of an era when Tipper Gore and her Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) put W.A.S.P. at the top of their black lists over their lyrical themes. With 16 studio albums and an estimated 12 million records sold, they have cult status in the heavy metal genre.

The setlist covers all the eighties classics and material from the latest albums. Inter Expo Center is a large complex in the northern part of Sofia, with capacity for large concert events.
