Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic stated that Serbia has no intention to attack anyone but is building defensive capabilities. She defended recent missile acquisitions as necessary for national security.

On Croatia's criticism, she said "that narrative is unacceptable."

She highlighted: "Serbia has been on red alert since 1999" after NATO operations and Kosovo's status changes. The Chief of General Staff added "no one in the region has reason to be nervous" about the new missiles.
