Did Mickoski Hire Black Cube? SDSM Files Criminal Complaint and Letters to the EU

SDSM accused Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski of hiring a foreign private intelligence company to surveil the opposition, specifically leader Venko Filipche. The company in question is "Black Cube" - an Israeli firm known as a "private Mossad," the same one linked to political operations in Hungary and Slovenia.

The opposition didn't stop at accusations. SDSM filed a criminal complaint with the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office against Mickoski for abuse of office, and sent letters to EU institutions and ambassadors, warning of what they call political persecution.

Black Cube - the company that shakes democracies

Black Cube is no unknown entity. It has been linked to activities in multiple countries, including spying on political opponents and fabricating scandals for political purposes. The Black Cube affair in Slovenia - where it was connected to an attempt to influence elections - is a fresh topic, especially now that Jansa is returning to power partly because of that very affair.

Is the same company really operating in Macedonia too? SDSM says yes, and Mickoski hasn't directly denied it so far. His response: "Everyone has the right to write, but my feelings are growing stronger" - hinting at escalating legal action against former officials.

What's really at stake?

If the accusations are true, we're talking about a prime minister using a foreign intelligence firm to surveil his own opposition - a direct violation of constitutional rights and democratic principles. If they're false, SDSM is playing a dangerous game with fabrications at the international level.

But one thing is certain: when the name "Black Cube" is mentioned in a country, it's never a good sign. A company specialized in covert operations and political manipulation - and a prime minister who, instead of denying it, talks about "feelings." Macedonian citizens deserve a clear answer, not cryptic messages.
