Ohrid has gained another direct link to the heart of Europe. As of today, 21 June, the regular Ohrid - Vienna air route has launched, with the first flight landing at "Saint Apostle Paul" airport. The route was introduced by Austrian Airlines, connecting the lakeside city with another European capital.

For a region that lives on tourism, every new air route is more than a flight schedule - it's a direct channel for guests and money. The link is expected to increase passenger numbers during the tourist season and contribute to local economic development.
