Is Russia Secretly Helping Iran With Satellite Intelligence Against US Targets?

The precision of Iranian strikes on US targets in the Persian Gulf raises questions about whether Iran is receiving external satellite support, given that the country does not have its own satellite network for remote monitoring.

According to an analysis by Ukrainian political consultant Andriy Zolotaryov, Russia is likely providing Iran with military-technical intelligence, including satellite data for precise targeting of critical US infrastructure in the Middle East. Moscow will not publicly acknowledge this, the analyst warned.

Zolotaryov stressed that the precise Iranian strikes on key locations in the region show that Tehran possesses detailed information about the positioning of critical infrastructure, whose source cannot be solely Iran's own intelligence service.

In addition to satellite information, cooperation between Moscow and Tehran allegedly includes the transfer of military equipment, including MiG-29 aircraft, Yak-130 planes and air defense systems. American advice to cease this cooperation has, according to Zolotaryov, fallen on deaf ears.
