Tender, the British alt-pop and electronic duo of James Cullen and Daniel Cobb, comes to Sofia on October 17, 2026. The show lands at City Stage as part of the European tour for their fourth studio album Where The Waves Break, due out in June 2026.
The duo has been active since 2016 with their debut Modern Addiction, an album that pulled attention from Britain's indie and alt-pop scene. Their sound sits between soft synth-pop, dark electronic rock and romantic balladry - a style often compared to The xx, Hozier and Daughter but with a heavier synth and post-production accent. Tracks like Nadir, Million, Aftermath and Slowstroke have built them a steady following across central and eastern Europe, never quite breaking into the mainstream.
Tender's concerts are known for their intimate, romantic atmosphere, and they tend to play smaller club venues where the softness of the sound carries. The Where The Waves Break setlist focuses on material from the new album, alongside classics from the early catalogue. City Stage is a club with capacity of around 600 in central Sofia - the kind of intimate room their style demands.
Tickets are available via ticketstation.bg from 29 euros. The show starts in the evening on Saturday, October 17, 2026. For Macedonian fans of British alt-pop, this is a solid chance to catch the genre in the neighbourhood this autumn.
