Trio Mandili open at Maimunarnika in Sofia on September 11, 2026 - the first date of a Bulgarian concert run by the Georgian ethno-folk trio. Tickets are between 25 and 42 euros (from 1,540 to 2,587 MKD) on bilet.bg.
Trio Mandili is the Georgian group of Tatuli Mgeladze, Tako Tsiklauri and Mariam Kurasbediani, performing traditional Georgian polyphonic songs accompanied by the panduri - the traditional Georgian stringed instrument. They became globally recognized in 2014 with their breakout take on „Apareka", whose video pulled in over 8 million YouTube views and opened the door to international tours.
The repertoire centers on traditional Georgian folk songs from every region of the country - the Svanetian „Svanure", the Kakhetian „Khakhure" and all regional variants of Georgian polyphony. Beyond Georgian, the trio also sings in other languages - Hindi („Goron Ki Na Kalon Ki Duniya Hai Dilwalon Ki"), Polish („Lipka"), Hebrew („Adon Olam") - which made them a fixture for audiences across Europe and Asia. In 2017 they represented Georgia at Eurovision.
The Maimunarnika concerts pick up where the band's earlier Bulgarian success left off - in 2023 they sold out the same venue and had to add more dates. Tickets run from 25 euros (1,540 MKD) to 42 euros (2,587 MKD) on bilet.bg, with the opening night on September 11 and additional dates on September 13 and 14.
