Uriah Heep, one of the most recognisable British hard rock and prog rock bands of the seventies, comes to Sofia on November 6, 2026. The concert will take place at Arena 8888 as part of their farewell world tour The Magicians Farewell.
The band has been active since 1969 and was one of the key formations of British heavy music in the late sixties and seventies, alongside Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. The hits Easy Livin', July Morning, Look at Yourself, The Wizard and Lady in Black made them one of the most recognisable acts of the genre. With 25 studio albums and an estimated 40 million records sold, they have been a major influence on the genre - July Morning, in particular, became an unofficial holiday of Bulgarian alternative culture.
The Magicians Farewell is the band's farewell tour after more than 55 years of activity. The setlist covers all the major hits, with guitarist Mick Box as the only original member. Arena 8888 is the largest indoor venue in Sofia, with a capacity of 15,000.
Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 70 leva. The concert starts at 20:00 on Friday, November 6, 2026. For Macedonian fans of classic British rock from the seventies, this is a significant date, especially given that this is the farewell tour.
