Goalkeeper Pacheco Married in Marbella: Three Wedding Dresses and a Story That Began at a Beach Bar

Football goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco and interior designer Ángela Guerrero got married at an exclusive golf club in Marbella, in front of around 150 guests. Among them were former teammates from Espanyol, which makes sense - this couple's story began exactly where lasting relationships rarely begin: at a beach bar.

They met in Marbella eight years ago, at a beach bar, then went their separate ways and met again a year later in Malaga. After five years together and a son, the goalkeeper proposed. Pacheco now plays in the Saudi league, and before that he passed through Real Madrid, Alavés and Espanyol - a career that carried him from Spain to the Middle East and back to the altar in Marbella.

The bride wore three creations by designer Ze García. For the pre-wedding evening - a short dress in silk taffeta. For the ceremony itself - a classic ballgown wedding dress with a long embroidered veil. And for the celebration - a corset with Swarovski crystals and a draped silk skirt. Three looks for three different moments of the same day, which is almost a rule at weddings like this nowadays.

The details were sealed by names from the top of the industry: the organisation was handled by the Sophie Kors team, the jewellery was from Tiffany & Co., the flowers from Pedro Navarro, and the makeup and hair were done by Raquel Costales, a Chanel ambassador. A lavish wedding, no doubt about it - but at the root still sits that ordinary story of two people who met at a bar and never split up. Sometimes behind the priciest celebration is the cheapest beginning.
