Influential Russian military blogger Yuri Podolyaka, one of the most vocal supporters of the Russian military campaign, surprisingly admitted that Ukrainian armed forces currently have the advantage in multiple segments of the war.
"Gradually, the advantage has shifted to the enemy's side. Very skilled people work there who understand how the system works and use their technical advantage. Unfortunately, they are succeeding," Podolyaka stated.
According to his analysis, Ukraine leads in effective drone use, electronic warfare, long-range strikes, logistics disruption, and rapid tactical adaptation.
"The enemy works very successfully, learns exceptionally fast, and develops new tactics, even a strategy for modern warfare much faster than us. NATO countries are now adopting their methods because they recognize that Ukrainian armed forces lead in this area," he added.
Podolyaka also warned against complacency: "If we keep believing the end of the war is within reach, unfortunately, serious complications lie ahead."
These assessments represent a significant departure from his previous positions and indicate growing concern in pro-Russian information circles about the dynamics on the battlefield.
