Brkovi at Luka Beograd on September 12 - The Punk-Folk-Wellness Legends With a New Album, Duga devetka

Brkovi, one of the loudest and most recognisable bands in the region, return to a Belgrade audience after two years with a big open-air concert on September 12 at Luka Beograd. The show on the Open Air Corner doubles as the launch of their new album „Duga devetka“.

For more than 20 years, Brkovi have been building their own musical universe under the „punk-folk-wellness“ label, fusing punk, turbo-folk, rock and brutal humour. Their concerts long ago stopped being mere gigs and turned into a collective ritual, with distorted guitars, emotional choruses and lyrics the audience sings by heart. It is precisely that mix of raw energy and self-irony that made them one of the most sought-after names on the alternative scene in the former Yugoslavia.

The Belgrade concert brings new material from „Duga devetka“, which continues the band's recognisable poetics, alongside the proven hits that guarantee a mass singalong. The audience can expect an evening of collective catharsis, sweat, laughter and the kind of energy unique to their shows.

The show is on Saturday, September 12, starting at 21:00 on the Open Air Corner at Luka Beograd. Tickets are on sale through tickets.rs and other outlets. For a Macedonian audience weighing the trip, Belgrade is just a few hours' drive away.
