Sasa Kovacevic opens his autumn tour at Hala Jezero in Kragujevac on October 16 at 8pm. Tickets run about 789 denars through tickets.rs, the same price in all five cities on the tour.

Kovacevic was born on July 27, 1985 in Zemun, where he finished the "Kosta Manojlovic" music school on the piano course, and then studied sound recording and design at the Academy of Arts. That is not the usual biography for a pop singer from this region - most of his colleagues have no formal musical training at all, let alone a producer's education.

His first television appearance came in 2004 at the Suncane Skale festival with the song "Pakao i raj". He did not win anything, but the performance opened doors. Then came the single "Jedina si vredela", which grew into a major hit, and in 2006 he recorded his first album for City Records, with "Lagala me il' ne lagala" and "Ruka za spas" - the latter was named hit of the year. His second album, "Ornament" from 2010, locked the status in.

"Bezimo iz grada" became the summer hit of 2011, and "Korak do dna" is among the songs that stayed on playlists the longest. Some twenty years on, Kovacevic is one of those Serbian pop names who reliably fill sports halls across the interior, not only in Belgrade.

Kragujevac is the first of five dates across Serbia - Sabac, Pozarevac, Krusevac and Uzice follow, through to mid-November. Five cities in under a month is a pace you only see from performers with a guaranteed audience outside the capital.
