Dubrovnik band Silente plays the Arsenal in Zadar on October 31 at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the concert is part of the autumn programme of this old-town venue.
Silente was founded in Dubrovnik in 2006. In 2014 it won the Porin award for best new artist, and later earned nominations for album and song of the year. The band has four studio albums: "Lovac na čudesa" (2013), "Neće rijeka zrakom teći" (2015), "Malo magle, malo mjesečine" (2018) and "IV" (2022). The singles "Nikada ovako" and "Poljubi me za kraj" reached number one on the Croatian HR Top 40 chart.
The group took a break from 2016 to 2018, and since 2023 Lara Viktorija Ilić has shared lead vocals with Tibor Karamehmedović. The line-up also includes Sanin Karamehmedović on bass, Ivuša Gojan on drums, Ivana Čuljak on violin and Luka Softić on synth. The violin is what sets them apart from the pop-rock average and gives them a recognisable sound.
Seat prices range from 15.30 to 29.75 euros (about 942 to 1,833 denars), sold via entrio.hr. The Arsenal is on the Square of the Three Wells in Zadar, Croatia.
