Zelensky Asks the West for Urgent Decisions - 90 Missiles on Kyiv, Including the Hypersonic Oreshnik

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stepped in front of the camera with an urgent message to the West - "Decisions are needed. Steps that will stop this war." That was his reaction to one of the heaviest Russian combined attacks on Kyiv and its surroundings in the last two years.

According to official Ukrainian data, the Russians launched around 90 missiles of various types, including 36 ballistic, while the "Oreshnik" missile system was used against Bila Tserkva. Zelensky claims this is one of Moscow's most advanced and fastest weapons - with hypersonic speed and the capacity to carry multiple warheads.

According to Ukrainian sources, at least 83 people have been injured since midnight, with confirmed deaths. Footage on social media shows thick smoke, fires, and widespread damage across Kyiv. Zelensky is asking for decisions from the US and Europe to urgently strengthen air defense.

Still, on Telegram channels doubts have come out - was Zelensky's video filmed in some "undisclosed location" with a green screen behind him? The tone of the recording is simple: a man pleading, not ordering. The question is whether this is allowed weakness in a moment of crisis, or a signal that the Ukrainian government is wearing out Western partners with repeated calls for help.

For the Balkan region, every attack like this is a reminder that the war in the East isn't over. Drones, missiles, weapons transport through our territory - these are questions countries in the region can't afford to ignore. When Zelensky pleads, we in the neighborhood need to listen.
