On October 8 at 21:00, Public Room in Skopje will hear "Holymood", the new album by Maksimovski United. It is the personal project of bassist and composer Džole Maksimovski, and the concert is the official launch of the eight new compositions.

Around the album Maksimovski gathered a collective of eleven long-time collaborators and friends: Aleksandar Nikodinovski, Filip Dimiškovski, Aleksandar Vančovski, Dino Milosavljević, Senad Usein, Vladan Drobicki, Aleksandar Kacarski, Davor Jordanovski, Darko Tasev, Mite Dimovski and Aleksandar Ristovski Princ. Stylistically, "Holymood" is described as an ambient fusion of jazz, hip-hop, funk and traditional music.

The author explains the title himself: "Holymood is the feeling we have when we're on stage. It's the place where we try to make invisible notes materialise in front of the listener". Nicely put. The question is how many stages in Skopje even offer a space where an album like this can be heard live, rather than only on streaming.

A ticket costs 500 denars and is available through tix.mk. Public Room is on 50-ta Divizija street in Skopje.
