Trump Orders: Shoot Anything That Lays Mines in Hormuz

Donald Trump ordered it. The US Navy obeys. Anything that lays mines in the Strait of Hormuz will be destroyed. No hesitation, no negotiations, no diplomatic language. The Truth Social post says it directly and in capital letters.

"I have ordered the US Navy to fire on and destroy any vessel, regardless of how small, which lays mines in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. There must be no hesitation," Trump wrote. He added that all 159 warships of Iran's Revolutionary Guard are "at the bottom of the sea" and that mine-clearing operations continue at triple intensity.

This is the 55th day of the Middle East conflict by American count. Trump does not negotiate - he announces. Iran does not yield - it lays mines. Between them lies a strait through which a fifth of the world's oil passes.

How far is this from us? How naive is it to think that closing Hormuz won't be felt at every gas station from Skopje to Zagreb? When the big powers fight, the small ones pay the bill - on the Balkans, we know that all too well.
