Boban Rajović plays the Macedonian Philharmonic on December 12 at 20:00. After a few years he is coming back to Macedonia, this time to a concert hall, and alongside his biggest hits the announcement singles out the song "Ruža sa juga" ("Rose from the South").
Rajović was born in Copenhagen in 1971, into a family that had emigrated from Berane in Montenegro. He sang in Yugoslav cafés across Scandinavia and drove a taxi in Copenhagen for six years, until in 2000 he came to Belgrade to record his first album.
The turning point came with "Usne boje vina" ("Wine-Coloured Lips"), the Marina Tucaković song that changed his career, followed by "Provokacija" and the albums "Puklo srce" and "Kosači". His latest studio album "Avion" came out in 2024. Four days after the Skopje concert, on December 16, Rajović also sings at Sava Centar in Belgrade.
Tickets cost from 1,300 to 1,900 denars and are on sale through mktickets.mk.
