Joan Collins at 92, no Botox and no Ozempic: training four times a week and watching the portions

On 23 May, Joan Collins turns 93. And she is still giving interviews at Claridge's in London. Still running a career. Still no Botox, no fillers, no needle in the face. „I have already seen results I do not want to have", she says about cosmetic facial work.

The secret? Collins does not talk about a miracle. She talks about discipline. She trains four times a week. She controls portions - not so much „what" as „how much". She does not eat late at night. „My body is like a luxury car - it cannot run without quality fuel."

She does not have breakfast. Breakfast for her is „a myth of the fitness industry". For lunch - smoked salmon, salad, roast meat, chicken. Overly complicated cuisines are nothing to her. „I was 60 in an era when 60 meant old. That is when I learned that simple things work best."

For a drink - a dry martini or a quality white wine, Pouilly-Fuissé when available. „Nothing in the glass without a story behind it." Milk chocolate occasionally - „small pleasures have to exist, otherwise life is not worth it."

What makes Collins interesting for a Balkan audience? That she is not selling „divine rejuvenation" in a bottle. She is not recommending an 80-euro serum. She does not have her own cosmetics brand. Between 90 and 93 the same three things circle her - food, movement, enough sleep. And an open rejection of the „Ozempic" revolution - „When you lose weight with chemistry, it is not a victory over the weight. It is a subscription to chemistry."

Collins has been married to Percy Gibson for 23 years. She is still taking film roles - she has just been announced in „The Bitter End", shooting in 2026. The Balkan lesson is simple - Joan Collins's ageing style comes from a time when mid-life was not rebuilt with scalpels and needles. Collins seems to have refused to absorb that. And it makes her the most beautiful 92-year-old in Britain.
