The musical "Kao kakao" returns to the stage of the Macedonian National Theatre on October 19 at 20:00. It is a melodramatic love story set in Skopje in the seventies, told through 19 recognisable compositions by Vlatko Stefanovski, with new arrangements prepared specially for this production.

The script and dramaturgy are by Venko Andonovski, the director is Dejan Projkovski, and the musical arrangements and orchestration are by Boban Mirkovski. Choreography is by Olga Pango, sets by Valentin Svetozarev and costumes by Marija Pupučevska. The producer is Bagi Komunikacii, with MNT as co-producer.

The cast includes Vladimir Petrović, Katerina Jovanović, Nina Elzeser, Stefan Spasov and Anja Mitić, among more than twenty names. The characters are a generation that wants to succeed, to love and to stay true to itself in a time that gives it very little room - and the clash with the system and the surroundings in the Balkans needs no explanation. In August the musical also played in Ohrid.
