A Girl from Probishtip Is National Champion in Geography - A Source of Pride You Can't Build with a Budget

Probishtip has a new reason for pride. Jovana Janevska, an eighth-grade pupil at the "Brakja Miladinovci" primary school, won first place at the national geography competition. Mayor Toni Tonevski met with her to offer his congratulations, together with her mentor, teacher Ana Naceva.

"This great success is a source of pride not only for Jovana and her school, but for the entire municipality of Probishtip," Tonevski said. He added that first place shows that "our young people have the potential to be the best when they invest effort, knowledge and persistence."

At a time when, in public, we more often hear about young people who destroy than about those who create, a piece of news like this is worth double. Behind every first place stands a child who chose a book over a screen, and a teacher who found the time to believe in them. That isn't built with budgets and ceremonies - it's built with patience. And if the municipality genuinely wants to help children like this, the best congratulation isn't today's photo, but the support Jovana will have tomorrow.
