Two Cars Burned Near TMF in Skopje: Residents Heard Gunshots Before the Fire

Two cars were completely burned in the early hours of the morning in a parking lot near the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje. Firefighters arrived in time and prevented the fire from spreading to other vehicles and buildings. The cause of the fire remains unknown - police are on site.

Residents of nearby apartment blocks reported hearing sounds similar to gunshots before the fire was spotted. That fuels suspicions of deliberate arson. Informal neighbourhood speculation immediately pointed toward score-settling or organised crime - but police have not confirmed any hypothesis so far.

The parking lot is in a densely populated part of the city. Two destroyed cars, wider spread prevented - the outcome is relatively contained. But gunshots before the fire is a detail that demands an official answer, not just police visits. Citizens have a right to know whether they are parking their cars next to a potential crime scene or a random accident.
