Zelenskyy: Russia Is Preparing Mass Mobilization and a Possible Baltic Attack

Zelenskyy warns that Russia is preparing for mass mobilization and a potential attack on the Baltics. Two scenarios, one scarier than the other - and a NATO that must decide whether it exists or not.

Scenario A: Russia announces broad mobilization, including Moscow and St. Petersburg residents, to prepare a major offensive against Ukraine. A scenario that means the Kremlin still believes it can win by force.

Scenario B: A smaller operation against the Baltic states, which Zelenskyy claims may not be prepared for strong resistance. A scenario that directly tests NATO's Article 5 - and everyone knows the test is real.

Zelenskyy explained why Russia is restricting social media: "The goal runs deeper - to prevent uprisings." If mobilization is coming, the Kremlin doesn't want protests on Moscow's streets while sending their sons to the front.

"NATO won't have a choice - otherwise NATO ceases to exist. They must unite and respond," Zelenskyy said. But he also knows some member states will hesitate. The Baltics are far away for those who don't live there. But close enough for everyone who remembers how the conflict in Ukraine began - with the assumption that the West wouldn't react.
