Carlson Apologizes to All of America: The Role I Played in Electing Trump Will Haunt Me for a Long Time

Tucker Carlson, the man who helped Donald Trump reach the White House, has publicly apologized to all of America. "I'll be haunted for a long time by the fact that I played a role in electing Trump," he said on a podcast with his brother Buckley, a former speechwriter for Trump's 2016 campaign.

Carlson admitted that he and millions of Trump supporters were blinded by political enthusiasm and overlooked serious warning signs. "You and I, and everyone who supported him, surely bear some responsibility for this," Carlson said.

From loudest supporter to loudest critic

Carlson didn't stop at the apology. He directly accused Trump of having a "faith" that resembles "Israelism" more than Christianity, and condemned the US-Israel war against Iran as being waged "in Israel's name." Heavy words from a man who was once Trump's greatest media ally.

The Carlson brothers openly discussed whether Trump had planned the war against Iran from the start and whether he'd abandoned key campaign promises. Particular attention went to the $250 million donation from casino magnate Miriam Adelson to Trump's campaign. When that much money flows in from one direction, the question "who's pulling the strings" stops being a conspiracy theory.

Carlson isn't alone. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Joe Rogan, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones - all once vocal Trump supporters - are now distancing themselves. Trump responded with personal attacks, calling critics "stupid people" with "low IQ."

And Israel's Diaspora Ministry put Carlson on its list of ten leading "antisemitic and anti-Zionist" influencers for 2025. From Trump ally to Israeli blacklist - Carlson's political trajectory is a lesson in how fast you can fall when you start speaking against those who made you powerful.
